Dueling Pianos
In 2005, Adam Blue teamed up with local Kansas City
songwriter and piano extraordinaire Spike Blake to form the "Dueling Piano
Guys" and eventually taking the concept to a new level and inventing "Big
Show Dueling Pianos". This concept caught on quickly and became
very popular with Kansas City corporations, charity organizations and
charity events, Kansas City weddings and company parties. The
dueling pianos are a fresh and exciting new form of entertainment that is
sure to please the most finicky of audiences with sing-a-long songs,
audience participation, comedy and dancing.
2020 - The Band
Taking a pretty good stab at fame and fortune, in
2001, Adam Blue teamed up with Evan Dease and formed the
power pop band "2020". 2020 was mildly successful, landing 2 hit
songs on the radio, most notably "Lift You Up", an upbeat positive pop
radio song which received both local airplay and international airplay in
over 40 countries. 2020 was the first local Kansas City band to be
played on 93.3 FM. 2020 received a positive review from Robert
Christgau of the Village Voice in New York, he gave the album a B minus -
not bad from a critic!

Graduation Song
In 2004, before the collapse of Stairway Entertainment, Adam Blue
was able to get just one more song in the books before retiring his
songwriting career. This song he collaborated with Lizzie Swearengin
called "When We Were Friends" became a staple graduation song, which is
still being performed today at high schools and universities all over the
country.
Kansas City Haunted Houses
In 2009, Adam Blue started a Kansas City Haunted House
site, with information about Halloween type haunted houses like The Edge
of Hell and The Mansion of Poe, etc. and also information about actual
haunted houses in Kansas City where ghosts tend to hang around all of the
time, like the Savoy Hotel and Restaurant downtown, and other Kansas City
haunted houses.
